A special edition of Stacking the Shelves: Annual Giant Book Sale!
What a day! It was truly amazing!
I travelled out of town for the first time since my ear infection cleared up because I had a specialist appointment. I’m a nervous traveller to begin with due to my health, so this was pretty stressful.
Because I don’t drive, I used the Wheels for Wellness program – and they were fantastic! YAY!
And the whole day was a success! Everything was great! I was very good travelling (rare) and the appointment went brilliantly – better than I ever could have imagined! So much stress just evaporated after that! It was lovely.
There was also a bookstore in the Mall so I – of course – had to pop in and buy something. I got two books that I’m so excited to read! (see below)
On the way home, we got to stop at Starbucks! I got my first Peppermint Mocha of the season – and I treated everyone in the van to a coffee as well. Both my ears, vertigo, and my spine behaved. It was astonishing!!
At home, I had pizza with Mom -watched some tv, and made a cake! And I still felt fine. It was a bloody miracle – I was actually crying tears of joy as it was so overwhelming having my vertigo so low. it’s been eight years, and yesterday had to have been the best day I’ve ever had. I’m really overwhelmed, emotional, thankful, grateful, and in shock. I never thought the world wouldn’t be spinning on me. And my vertigo/dizziness/nausea is so low it’s unbelievable!
But I digress…back to booksish things. Here’s my mini book haul:
The Haunting of Sunshine Girl – Paige McKenzie
This Monstrous Thing – Mackenzi Lee
And an awesome journal for 2016
